1 – Compass Health Center (CHICAGO)
Intensive Treatment Program

Description:
OCD sufferers and those with other complex anxiety disorders can receive partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient care at Compass Health Center. We provide daily Exposure and Response Prevention Therapy (ERP) with a strong emphasis on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), as well as skill development in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, both on-site and virtually (CBT). We want our participants to practice handling anxiety in the service of their own morals. By doing this, we draw attention to the fact that it is possible to have a happy life even in the face of uncertainty or suffering.

The intensity of the person’s symptoms is the primary factor in determining the level of care and length of therapy, which is continuously monitored by the person’s treatment team throughout programming. The adults in our programs collaborate with family therapists, psychiatric staff, individual and group therapists, and other professionals to create thorough treatment plans catered to their unique objectives. When necessary, we also offer assistance with substance abuse and academic and professional coaching.

The OCD & Complex Anxiety Program at Compass Health Center offers high-quality care to its patients through evidence-based procedures, all-encompassing services, and tailored treatment. Our customized curriculum enables people with complex anxiety disorders like trichotillomania/excoriation, OCD, panic disorder, social anxiety, illness anxiety, and others to resume fulfilling lives.

Patients with moderate substance use disorders, trauma, and mood and anxiety disorders were treated at Compass Health Center. To accommodate the needs of these people, we offer specialised programs and therapists. A treatment strategy that is most effective for each patient will be developed by their treatment team. Before or after the OCD and Complex Anxiety program, some patients will change programs, join specialty groups in other programs, or schedule one-on-one consultations with a specialist. Everything is dependent on the individual’s treatment requirements.
